Universal Community Services (UCS) is a non-profit, community-centred organisation dedicated to delivering sustainable, accountable, and measurable impact in Water, Health & Well-Being, Quality Education & Child Protection, Sustainable Livelihoods & Economic Empowerment, and Community Development & Resilient Housing.
We work in partnership with communities, governments, donors, and the private sector to implement evidence-based programmes that strengthen resilience, promote equity, and drive long-term socio-economic transformation across Sierra Leone and the wider African region.
To improve access to safe water, sanitation, health services, and well-being interventions that reduce vulnerability, prevent disease, and enhance quality of life in underserved communities.
To promote equitable access to quality education and robust child protection systems that safeguard children’s rights, improve learning outcomes, and create safe and inclusive environments for children and youth.
To strengthen livelihoods and economic empowerment through skills development, entrepreneurship, climate-smart agriculture, and income-generating opportunities for women, youth, and vulnerable groups.
To support community-led development and resilient housing initiatives that enhance safe shelter, disaster preparedness, and infrastructure sustainability.
To advance environmental responsibility, strategic partnerships, and regional scale-up by integrating sustainable practices, strengthening institutional capacity, and replicating proven development models across Sierra Leone and the wider African region.
